First Halloween

Kassidy was lucky enough to have three Halloween outfits this year. She was a pumpkin and a peapod.

Trip to the Zoo

Eric and I took Kassidy for her first trip to the zoo. We spent an afternoon at Lincoln Park Zoo and she seemed really interested in these lions.

Kassidy Finds Herself

Kassidy has discovered the mirror on her playmat. She now finds
gazing at herself the best form of entertainment.

Kassie's latest accomplishment is tracking objects. My friend Christy gave her this new stuffed dog, which she can finally see. I think she was even surprised she could make eye contact with it.

Eric's friend Josh came to visit Chicago for the Cubs Game and stopped by with his son Owen who is eight months old. I can't believe how much they grow!

Week 4

Kassie is a month old! Wow, I can't believe how fast times goes by. We decided to venture out to Eric's cousin Elena birthday party with Kassidy. Yes, we considered this our big night out!

Week 3

We think Kassidy is destined to be either a gymnast or work for Cirque Du Soleil when she grows up. This is how she has been sleeping in her bed these days.

Week 2: Settling In

We gave Kassidy her first sponge bath at home. As you can tell she seemed surprised as to what was taking place.

Week 1: Kassidy Caroline Pepping arrives

Well so much for being prepared! Kassie came three weeks earlier than we expected. Since Eric didn't want to find out the sex of the baby, it was a complete surprise. We spent this week preparing the nursery, buying all the items we needed to for her and just trying to settle into a routine.
